TRANSPARENT FEE MODEL
Know what Sorena charges—and what it does not.
We minimise the professional fees paid by students through a provider-funded model, while keeping government charges and third-party expenses visible and separate.
No professional fee for admission support
For applications to participating education providers, Sorena does not charge the student a professional fee for coordinating admission support.
- Course and provider coordination
- Admission document preparation
- Communication with participating providers
No professional fee for student visa submission
Sorena does not charge the student a professional fee for student visa submission. Immigration work is managed through qualified New Zealand professionals and remains subject to individual engagement terms and current requirements.
US$200 + GST account-opening fee
This fee establishes the account and supports commitment to beginning and completing the process. It is not an admission fee or student visa submission fee.
Provider commission
A participating education provider may pay Sorena a commission after an eligible student enrols and begins study. Recommendations should still be based on the student's suitability, not solely on commission.
Costs paid to others
Government charges and third-party costs remain separate and can vary by applicant.
- Immigration New Zealand application charges
- Medical examinations and police certificates
- Translations, certifications and courier costs
- Tuition, insurance, travel and living expenses
